Three Charged with Firearm Possession at Kentucky Festival

Three men face federal charges for illegal firearm possession after authorities intercepted them at the Court Day Festival in Mount Sterling, Kentucky. The men, identified as Eduardo Rios-Cruz, Damian Hernandez-Cruz, and Gregorio Rios-Cruz, allegedly purchased 18 firearms, which included three pistols and 15 rifles, while in the country illegally.

During the festival, federal agents observed the men carrying various firearms and concealing them in their pickup truck. A subsequent traffic stop revealed they could not provide valid U.S. identification. Investigators later discovered that the guns had been purchased at the festival, where firearms are openly sold, raising serious concerns about gun regulations and illegal firearm access in the area.
