Three Killed in Shooting at Louisville DMV Office

Louisville police report that three individuals were shot dead at a motor vehicle office on Friday, with the incident leaving one man and two women deceased. Officers responded to the scene around noon and found one victim already dead, while the others succumbed to their injuries shortly after being transported to local hospitals. Authorities confirm that there is no ongoing threat to the community.

The shooting took place at a Driver Licensing Office on the southern outskirts of Louisville, and police are currently reviewing surveillance footage to identify the suspect or suspects, who fled the scene in a vehicle. Major Donald Boeckman described the incident as “absolutely a tragedy,” expressing surprise that more people were not injured during the alarming event.
