Authorities in Troy, Alabama, have launched an investigation after three men were discovered dead from gunshot wounds in a series of shootings Sunday night. The Troy Police Department responded to reports of a man lying in the road shortly after 10:30 p.m., leading them to uncover two additional victims at different locations, raising the urgency to resolve the cases.
During the investigation, officers learned that the first victim’s vehicle, a gray Nissan Altima, had been stolen, complicating the police’s efforts. Shortly thereafter, authorities found an abandoned Altima containing the body of a third victim. Troy Police Chief Danny Barron assured the public there is no known threat to the community, and they are encouraging anyone with information to step forward to assist in the ongoing investigation.
