Three men are injured after a shooting incident that occurred Wednesday night in Carpentersville, prompting an ongoing investigation by local police. Around 11:25 p.m., two suspects approached a vehicle parked in a driveway on Navajo Drive, leading to a confrontation in which three of the four occupants, aged 17 to 19, were shot.
The driver of the vehicle attempted to get the victims to a hospital while a passenger called 911 for help, with police later finding them at the intersection of Randall Road and Broadsmore Drive. Two victims have since been treated and released, while one remains hospitalized in stable condition. Carpentersville police emphasize that the shooting seems to be an isolated incident, and they are appealing for any witnesses to come forward with information.
