The Toledo Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club is collaborating with Toledo Public Schools and the Lucas County Prosecutor’s Office to deliver vital gun safety education to local youths. The program will feature the National Rifle Association’s Eddie Eagle GunSafe curriculum, focusing on what students should do when encountering firearms at home or in public.
This initiative responds directly to a February incident in New Mexico where two young children, ages 7 and 9, were involved in a standoff with law enforcement while armed. Club representative Fred LeFebvre emphasized the importance of educating children and stated that their gun safety instruction is available to any school district across northwest Ohio before the academic year concludes.
