Victoria Police detectives are currently investigating two separate armed robbery sprees that unfolded across Melbourne, targeting service stations in the east and south-east regions. On Saturday night, a group of males in a red Honda Civic executed six armed robberies in quick succession, stealing cash and cigarettes while assaulting three service station attendants in the process.
In a related incident, another group of five males targeted service stations in the eastern suburbs, escalating to assaulting a staff member and attempting to break into a supermarket. Police believe these crimes are interconnected and are calling for witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward to assist in their investigation.
