Two men have been arrested and charged with armed robbery following a hold-up at a CVS Pharmacy in Potomac, Maryland. Shakir Dequan Jude, 31, and Justin Thomas Whitaker, 32, were taken into custody after an investigation revealed they allegedly forced employees and a customer into a restroom while demanding access to the pharmacy’s safe.
Authorities report that the robbery occurred early on May 25, 2025, and the suspects fled with numerous prescription medications. Both men are also connected to another robbery incident in Alexandria, Virginia. Jude was arrested on June 8, while Whitaker was apprehended in Brooklyn, New York on August 26, and is currently awaiting extradition.
