Two Arrested for Suspected Firearm Trafficking in Indiana

Two 24-year-old men, Anthony Taylor Jr. and Gregory Henderson III, are arrested in Indianapolis as part of an ongoing investigation by the Indiana Crime Guns Task Force into suspected firearm trafficking. Detectives linked both suspects to illegal activities involving firearms and narcotics after noticing Taylor, who was already on probation for a past robbery conviction, in possession of two guns outside a residence on East 34th Street.

During a subsequent search warrant execution, authorities discovered three handguns, including one that was reported stolen, as well as a stolen rifle. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is now investigating potential connections between these firearms and other crimes, emphasizing the role of community involvement in their efforts. “We can’t do this without the community,” Officer Tommy Thompson stated, urging anyone with information to come forward.
