San Antonio police apprehend two suspects, a male and female in their early 20s, after they allegedly robbed an armored truck driver at gunpoint at a southeast-side ATM. The incident occurred when the pair approached the driver at a Chase ATM on Goliad Road and demanded cash while brandishing a firearm.
Following the robbery, police quickly responded to the scene and conducted a traffic stop after noticing a vehicle driving erratically. The female suspect attempted to flee on foot but was captured nearby, while the male driver surrendered without resistance. Authorities recovered a bag of money, but are still searching for the firearm used in the robbery, with no injuries reported to the armored truck driver. This investigation remains ongoing.
