Two individuals are hospitalized following a shooting in Hilton Head, South Carolina, that sparked a police chase leading to the arrest of two suspects. The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of gunfire early Sunday morning, finding a 17-year-old victim injured on South Forest Beach Drive, while a second victim, also 18 years old, sought medical help independently.
The subsequent police pursuit concluded when law enforcement deployed a tire deflation device, detaining several individuals within a vehicle linked to the incident. Arrested were 18-year-old Erick Alexander Martinez Ambrosio, charged with attempted murder, and 17-year-old Jonathan Ambrosio Reyes, facing multiple offenses including fleeing to evade arrest. With the investigation still underway, the Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone with information to come forward.
