The Bolivar Police Department has taken two juveniles into custody following a suspected armed robbery on June 4. Police responded to the scene around 1:45 p.m. near West Jackson Street and the Frisco Highline Trailhead, where they reportedly found a firearm and other evidence linked to the incident.
In light of the unfolding situation, Bolivar Middle School implemented a “secure” status to ensure the safety of students and staff. Surveillance video from both Bolivar R-1 Schools and Southwest Baptist University is assisting the ongoing investigation into this alarming event.
