Established in the summer of 2022, this facility plays a pivotal role in coordinating military operations, conducting war games, and relaying essential needs for weaponry and supplies to allied nations.
The joint HQ has transformed the approach to Ukraine’s military response, enabling collaborative planning with U.S. forces and addressing real-time needs based on battlefield assessments. Zaluzhnyi emphasized the HQ’s key function in evaluating the armed forces’ requirements, ensuring information flows efficiently to Washington and European capitals, thus enhancing the effectiveness of Ukraine’s counter-offensive efforts.
