A surveillance camera captures a harrowing moment in Union City as a girl races back into her home while being pursued by four armed suspects. This attempted home invasion occurred at approximately 7:45 a.m. on a Friday morning, raising alarm in the community after footage shows the girl retreating just as the suspects exit a vehicle across the street and sprint toward her residence.
Fortunately, the girl makes it inside safely and alerts her family, leading them to contact the police. The suspects, described as males in dark hooded sweatshirts and face masks, approached the front door but fled when confronted by the residents. Two of the suspects were armed with handguns, and they escaped the scene in a white Ford Taurus. An active investigation is underway, with police urging anyone with information to reach out to Detective Bedford.
