The vests will first be provided to K-9 Azula, who was injured during the incident, and another dog named Elvis. Community members like Brad Gledhill, who donated $500 for the cause, emphasize the importance of safeguarding these working dogs, especially in smaller agencies that may lack the necessary funding.
