Vallejo Man Arrested with Ghost Gun and Drugs

A 45-year-old Vallejo man, Tabarrie Merritt, is arrested in Santa Rosa after police discover a loaded ghost gun and suspected crack cocaine in his vehicle early Sunday morning. Merritt, previously convicted of a felony, is prohibited from owning firearms and was pulled over for allegedly having hidden license plates.

During the stop, Merritt reportedly admitted to having a firearm under his seat, which was identified as a Polymer 80, a privately manufactured 9-mm gun without a serial number. In addition to the firearm, police found narcotics, leading to multiple charges against him. This incident underscores ongoing concerns regarding illegal firearms and drug-related crime in the region.
