This special initiative aims to thank veterans for their service while providing them a safe environment to practice with rifles, shotguns, handguns, and archery equipment.
The free access applies to all Class A, B, and C ranges, which typically require permits costing $5 for a day or $24 annually. Veterans will find opportunities to engage in supervised and unsupervised shooting activities, as well as clay target practice across various facilities. This initiative not only highlights the state’s support for veterans but also encourages community engagement in shooting sports.
