Wareham police are actively investigating an armed robbery that took place at the China Chef restaurant late Saturday night. A male suspect, dressed in all black with a bandana covering his face, confronted staff at gunpoint, demanding cash before fleeing on foot with an undisclosed amount.
Despite an extensive search effort involving a K-9 unit from the Plymouth County Sheriff’s Department, the suspect was not located. The Wareham PD’s Criminal Investigations Division urges anyone with information to contact them at 508-295-1206 to aid in the ongoing investigation.
