A Waukegan man, Isack A. Woods, 18, faces new charges for committing a robbery in Zion while on probation for a previous armed robbery. Prosecutors report that during this latest incident, Woods allegedly threatened his victim, telling her he would “blast” her as he forcefully took her iPhone 14 Pro, valued at $1,200.
Prior to the robbery, the victim had attempted to retrieve her belongings from Woods, who had been a friend of her sister. The situation escalated when a verbal argument over missing money arose, leading to physical confrontation. Law enforcement quickly apprehended Woods, who remained in possession of the victim’s property, raising serious concerns about his behavior while on second-chance probation for an earlier violent crime.
