West Branch Club Offers Safety Prep for Deer Hunters

The West Branch Sportsmen’s Club focuses on hunter preparedness ahead of the deer season opening on November 15. With Deer Rifle Sight-In Days scheduled for November 1 and 8, club members will assist hunters in ensuring their rifles are accurate and safe, which is crucial for responsible hunting. According to Club President John Conrad, taking the time to zero in your firearm can prevent the needless suffering of deer and enhance the overall hunting experience.

As hunters gear up for the upcoming season, they are reminded to bring their rifles, ammunition, and protective gear. The sight-in event runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., providing a valuable opportunity for both seasoned hunters and newcomers to fine-tune their equipment. With rising costs associated with hunting, ensuring a successful outing is more critical than ever, making these preparation days an essential part of the hunting calendar.
