The Wilmington Police Department is actively investigating an armed robbery that occurred Monday night at an ATM on South College Road. Officers responded around 9:30 p.m. to a report from a victim who claims they were held up at gunpoint while making a deposit at a Bank of America ATM.
The victim described the suspect as a black male wearing camouflage clothing and a ski mask, and indicated that the assailant was armed with a handgun. As detectives gather more information about this incident, law enforcement encourages anyone with details or who may have witnessed the robbery to reach out via the department’s hotline or anonymously through the Tip 411 app.
