The “Women on Target” class is set to return to Salem, Ohio, on August 3, offering a specialized NRA-sponsored firearm safety program exclusively for women. With a limited capacity of just 15 participants, the class provides a hands-on learning experience that emphasizes firearm safety, range etiquette, and effective shooting techniques through one-on-one instruction.
Program instructor Angela Vincent highlights the transformative potential of the course, stating that it empowers women who may have previously felt hesitant about firearms, especially in the context of personal safety. The class runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Salem Hunting Club, with registration available for a fee of $80. Interested women can find additional details and sign up on the NRA’s website.
