Fairfield police have arrested 28-year-old Castanya Tompkins in connection with two armed robberies that occurred within hours of each other this week. After responding to a robbery at a business on Business Center Drive, investigators quickly reviewed surveillance footage and set up area checks, leading to her identification as a suspect thanks to a local hotel employee.
Officers apprehended Tompkins while she was walking on Business Center Drive, where they discovered a firearm reported stolen from Richmond, along with a significant amount of cash in her possession. She is currently facing serious charges, including robbery and possession of stolen property, with her arraignment taking place in Solano County Superior Court this Thursday.
