Youngstown police recently uncovered guns and a substantial quantity of marijuana during a warrant search at a local impound lot. Officers found marijuana edibles, multiple bags of marijuana, and several disposable THC vapes inside a gray and camouflage Dodge Charger, as part of an investigation into illegal drug dealing and firearms.
In addition to the drugs, a Jeep Gladiator contained an AR-15 pistol and a 9mm pistol, both loaded and in possession of an individual prohibited from having firearms due to a prior felony conviction. This alarming discovery raises concerns about firearm safety and drug-related activities in the area, prompting further investigation by the Youngstown Police Department’s Vice Unit.
