17-Year-Old Arrested for Kansas Armed Robbery

Police in Topeka have arrested 17-year-old Delron Tyree, Jr. for his alleged involvement in an armed robbery that occurred Wednesday afternoon. The arrest took place just before 2:30 p.m. in the 6000 block of SW 10th Street, following a warrant issued by the Riley County District Court for aggravated robbery and criminal use of weapons.

Tyree, a resident of Topeka, was taken into custody on serious charges involving the use of a dangerous weapon. After the arrest, he was transported to the North Central Kansas Regional Juvenile Detention Facility, where he remains confined as the investigation continues.
