South Windsor Man Charged for Gun During Argument

A 42-year-old South Windsor man, Marco S. Tocel, has been charged after police discovered he allegedly carried a loaded pistol during a domestic dispute while two children were present in his vehicle. The incident took place Thursday night as authorities responded to the verbal altercation, leading to Tocel’s arrest on multiple charges, including carrying a pistol without a permit and risk of injury to a child.

Police reported that Tocel had placed the firearm on the front seat of his car during the argument. He is currently held on a $100,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court for arraignment on Friday morning. This incident raises significant concerns about public safety, particularly regarding firearms in the presence of minors.
