Southington Man Arrested for Armed Robbery at Autozone

A 46-year-old man from Southington has been arrested after allegedly committing an armed robbery at an Autozone store, where he threatened an employee with what appeared to be a firearm. Police responded to the incident on March 18, discovering that Hector Roman had stolen items from the store and brandished a weapon during the confrontation.

Officers located Roman at his home later that evening, finding clothing matching the victim’s description as well as two black BB guns fashioned like handguns. He is charged with several offenses, including first-degree robbery and reckless endangerment, and is held on a $250,000 bond, with his arraignment scheduled for March 19.
