Two Arrested in Rensselaer Gun Seizure

New York State Police and the Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team (VGNET) arrest two men following an investigation into illegal gun sales in Rensselaer and Saratoga counties. Tyler Kelly, 30, and Patrick McKee, 34, are charged with multiple felonies after 21 firearms are seized during search warrants executed in Halfmoon and Schodack.

Kelly faces two counts of criminal sale of a firearm, while McKee is charged with two counts of criminal possession of a firearm. As part of the ongoing investigation, Kelly is held without bail, and McKee is released on his own recognizance, highlighting the serious implications of illegal firearm possession in these communities.
